The Tideborn is the fish-person race that starts out in City of Raging Tides, which is in the Southeast portion of the Perfect World map. The two Tideborn classes are the Psychic and the Assassin.
Everyone only knows that with the exception of the omnipotent Gods, the most intelligent and spiritual creatures of the land are the Elves, Humans and Untamed. Long have they forgotten that on the furthest ends of the ocean, a race of equal standing (but more mysterious) lies, seeking a way out of the endless bloodshed and voodoo.
A few thousand years ago, the lands of Perfect World was home to the four majority races of Humans, Untamed, Elves and the Tideborn, all of whom were the highest creations of Gods. Together, they became the rulers of the world, sharing the glory of being the strongest living beings. The Elves ruled the skies, the lands belonged to the Humans and Untamed; and the Tideborn was the non-contested rulers of the sea. However, the fates of each race began to change...
Psychic Psychics are the fastest spell-casters, apart from Clerics. They make a good ally in your squad if used properly. Psychics also use buff and self-buff spells that have an extremely fast casting rate and use a very small amount of MP at the beginning. All the psychic's skill elements are earth and water, bar Soulburn, which is unique in PWI due to it's lack of element or orientation (it is neither physical or magical and can damage even with damage immunity). Psychics have two skill paths, Soul Force and Chain of Souls, both have different varieties of abilities. As a part of a Tideborn, psychics do the duty of stun, hex and paralyze. Using these unique techniques they enter the battlefield, slaying enemies one by one

Cons: Low HP Can be boring to play because of less skills Difficult to stay active at high levels Requires higher refine levels to increase soul skills (thus an end game character) Steals aggro easily Starting from around level 15-20 needs the most MP
Psychic Weapons Soulsphere: The only weapon. Medium-Medium damage
Psychic Armor Psychics generally use Arcane armor, the same as other spell-user classes. Though Heavy armor and Light armor psychics exist, they are rare and require more money to keep competitive. Also, and rank armor for psychics will be Arcane by default and is unchangeable.
Psychic in PvP Depending on the abilities they chose, they can be really powerful in PvP. Psychics not only have a fast casting rate, but can use White Voodoo for defense and Life Bubble for healing, and vit builds can have plenty of HP. Their "soul" skills give them some nice defensive buffs as well. That helps them defeat enemies quickly and survive well when prepared. In early levels lack of AoEs can be a problem, but this isn't usually an issue for high level psychics. While they can kill very easily in PvP when prepared, they don't have high defense when using Black Voodoo, and HP can be very low for full mag builds, so they can die quite easily to physical classes.
Psychic in PvE Psychics level up quickly because of the fast-casting skills and high damage attacks. They do not die often like wizards, but are weak against multiple attackers at lower levels. Psychics are good to have in a squad like wizards, because of fast casting and can do good damage, even standing out doesn't even matter if you use psychics properly. In addition enemies are punished just for attacking you if you stack the variety of barriers with their variety of effects. You also have skills that drastically decrease healing abilities of opponents as well as the infamous Soulburn skill. This skill causes the attacker to suffer damage equal to your soulforce every time they attack for a period of time. As you will discover, your soulforce easily passes 5000 by the time you're only level 50, meaning an opponent is usually committing instant suicide should they choose to attack while this curse is in place. Psychics also have the Life Bubble skill for fast HP regeneration over time, allowing them to recover more quickly after being injured.
Psychic in Territory Wars The main purpose of a psychic is repressing enemy skills and options with the variety of effects you can cast on players rendering even key opponents in a battle unable to act freely or effectively. Psychics can also make good use of their AoEs to deal a huge amount of damage to multiple targets if used in the right moments. In a pinch they can use Life Bubble to heal themselves and nearby team members as well. However, they usually have a low physical defense, which keeps them running from physical attackers.
Weapons
Stick with weapon from Token quests is a good choice, both for its cost effectiveness, usefulness and effort; however sooner or later you will have to farm TT for your TT90+ weapons if you can't afford the Lunar weapon ☆ Banished Curse or the TT100 (which is the best and also most expensive IMO) ☆☆Roaring Flame . The questions is what to choose? Although the -channeling doesn't appeal much to me as a psy, the bonus for damage from TT99 Gold ☆Barrier Sphere: Soulbringer is totally badass compare to its cost (total chips cost is 4m8). Want more? you have a choice to upgrade it to nirvana. Not a bad choice. The +attack lvl may be appealing but the truth is it doesn't grant much of damage bonus. As stated in Advance formulas section, attack level raise the lvl of attacker and bypass opponent %damage reduction, 2 attack level won't be enough to pass through 1% damage reduction unless heavily stack with other gears. For detail formula, read the Advance Formulas above in section 4. Other than those mention above, the +1% CRIT is nice and the +VIT is not half bad either, depends on your preference Not worth mentioning: ☆Resonance of Stars , ☆Acoustic Soullotus: Spiritual
