Saigen is a community uniting people interested in one (or more) of the following;

Anime, Art, Comics, Cosplay, Crafting, Drawing, Events, Furry, Gaming, Gothic,
Guides, Harajuku, Japanese Culture, Lolita, Manga, Meetings, Photography, Projects,
Roleplay, Science, Sewing, Steampunk, Support, Tips, Tricks, Walktroughs, Etc!

Saigen is raising money to open the very first Japanese Tea Room in Europe
with Maids, Events, GamingZone, DDR machines, Guides, computers,
Weekly Contests, Tournaments, Sewingmachines, Photography Studio,
Rooms where people can stay that want to go together to a convention, Etc!
We will open the very first Saigen Tea Room in Belgium and hope to spread
these Tea Rooms troughout the world as a place where cosplayers, Harajuku,
Gamers, Lolita, etc. Can feel home and have weekly events, meetings, contests,
tournaments and a lot more!

language in saigen?
We basically use English since it is the most common language in the world,
the language most people will understand. Yet we have seperate forums
for languages, such as french, dutch, german. A Language forum can
be requested to admin.

What is cosplay?
Cosplay is a combination of Costume play and character play.
Without both, you are not cosplaying but just acting or dressing up.

A cosplayer is an artist that makes a certain character in a movie, anime,
Manga or comic come to life.

A Cosplayer has to be this person, look alike the person, act like the person.
Cosplaying is acting, yet it is not on a set, it is in public which means it is
more difficult then acting due the fact that you can not Re-Edit or Delete what
You do. On a convention, you are surrounded by a live public and most likely a lot of cameras for hours.

Cosplay is art.

When will the first Saigen Tea Room Open?
it depends on how fast things will go, currently we have the design, we have the ideas,
Yet not enough sponsors and no location yet.


Where are events held?
All over the world, members can make their own events.


How can i help Saigen?
Any kind of help is welcome, yet we do not force anyone.

Things that can help us are for example ;
Donations, Being active on the forum, Spreading the word about saigen,
Invite people to saigen, become a sponsor, ideas, invite us to stand on a convention,
make events for saigen, make contests for saigen, put a saigen link on your internet profiles,
etc. There are many ways to support us.
